I wanted a Christmas design, without it being too Christmas-y. Sometimes it's nice to have a winter quilt that can stay out late into January and beyond without it looking like you forgot to put your Christmas stuff away.

This design was made with my Grandma Donalda in mind. She loves her Cardinals and Christmas is always an excuse to decorate, which is a passion of hers. I love that when it is nested, I don't read the lines of quilting.
